Seriously, it's great to feel out of my depth with a camera as opposed to constrained as I did with the compact. Unfortunately it also picks up every single imperfection on people faces, so it looks like I'll be spending most post-processing time doing airbrushing.
Then again it's those little imperfections which make us all special, isn't it?

Apart from spots. Wrinkles and scars say 'worldly', spots say 'greasy'.
